about

Iโ€™m a joguinista, producer, game designer and narrative designer, writer, translator and localizer, publicist, columnist, bizdev, event organizer, mentor, and consultant. a jack-of-all-trades in game development and digital projects, used not only to creative leadership but also to picking up all those bureaucratic bits nobody else wants to deal with.

Iโ€™m the founder of Garoa, an award-winning studio focused on experimental and artistic games that has been a finalist several times for best Brazilian game, best narrative, and best audio, as well as a popular-vote winner at gamescom latam/BIG Festival and SBGames (among countless others).

currently an occasional columnist at Controles Voadores, a publication dedicated to Brazilian joguinismo and all its nuances, and product lead for the spawnd.gg platform.

engaged in organizing and strengthening the gamedev community, having served as communications director and fiscal council member at ACJOGOS-RJ, operations manager at Game Jam+, and coordinating director at GDP UFRJ. more recently, also taking the first steps toward organizing something within the professional community of narrative designers and game writers in Brazil.

linguist and language lover, currently carrying these five under my belt: brasileiro, English, ๆ—ฅๆœฌ่ชž, ั€ัƒััะบะธะน, and espaรฑol latam.
